| Abstract | In this study, we have developed a two-step approach to performing forward modeling of SIP data. In the first step, we obtain complex resistivity by using SIP parameters based on the Cole-Cole model over a range of frequencies. In the second step, we solve the Poisson`s equation by using the finite element method considering the complex resistivity which is obtained in the first step. With this approach, we can obtain apparent resistivity distribution and apparent phase distribution over a range of frequencies. Our results of numerical calculation show that it is possible to discriminate between massive sulphides and graphite. |
