| Abstract | Vibration characteristics of four middle-scale buildings have been examined by means of analysis of microtremors measured simultaneously on the ground and on the building floors. Evaluation of earthquake-resistant capacity of the buildings has been conducted by use of dynamic characteristics values obtained.They are natural period ,quality factor and maximum ampli-fication ratio. The result has shown that two reinforced concrete-framed buildings are rigid and stable ,but two steel-framed buildings are soft and unstable from the viewpoint of aseismic examination. |
