| | Abstract | | In Fukuoka Prefecture, there are a few faults about which we should be careful. The Minou fault is one of them. It located the east of Kurume city. If we have big earthquakes caused by Minou fault, we will suffer from the serious damage. We carried out the densed gravity survey at 109 points, using Scintrex CG-3 and CG-3M gravimeters in 2007. We detected some high gradient zones of Bouguer anomaly, which are caused by faults. We carried out 2D structural analysis using gravity survey date, then it is estimated the drop of the drop of the dislocation 800m. But that of the center of Kurume city is about 300m. So we guess Minou fault does not reach to the central part of Kurume city. |
