| | Abstract | | We developed a high accuracy marine electrical prospecting system for the purpose of investigating distribution of metal and non-metal waste deposits around harbor or beach area. As the result of the tank experiment of the new measurement system with actual waste collected by sea bottom, it can be confirmed that the accuracy of the measurement of electric potential changes is good in high electric noise environment. Correlation factor related to resistivity change under sea bottom obtained by towing-style measurement can be calculated quickly in correlation tomography. Two dimensional distribution of the correlation factor obtained by correlation tomography can indicate distribution of waste. |
