| Abstract | The Poisson's theorem denotes a linear relationship between the gravity and magnetic potentials arising from a body with constant density-magnetization ratio. The theorem extended to multi body case by repeatedly applying within a small uniform body, moving data window. The Moving-Window Poisson's (MWP) analysis was proposed by Chandler et al (1981) to apply to general complex structures using the moving windows. The profiles obtained by the MWP analysis were investigating for several multi density and magnetic intensity structures. The MWP was applied to the dataset of gravity anomaly and magnetic intensity obtained by the aeromagnetic surveys in northern Hokkaido. The MWP analysis put some constraints for the density and magnetization structure modeled by the Talwani method |
