Repeated resistivity and GPR surveys in the North-Kanto groundwater observation site

Abstract
Repeated resistivity and GPR measurements have been done in the Kita-Kanto groundwater observation site, where meteorological and several geophysical observations have been conducted continuously or intermittently. The purposes of these repeated measurements were to detect the changes of near-surface hydrogeological environment. In resistivity surveys, a 25-electrode array with a 1-m interval was laid out on 24-m long survey lines. The data have been collected for every month since August 2006. GPR measurements were carried out in February 2006, December 2006, January 2007 and February 2007. We observed the changes of resistivity and EM wave velocity which were caused by the change of the near-surface soil moisture.
