Dynamic pairing of hypocenter for Double-Difference method

Abstract
In a general approach in Double-Difference(DD) method, the pairs of hypocenters which are located nearer each other has higher weight as constraints of the relative travel time for the absolute travel time. We propose a method of weighting based on not only the distance between hypocenters but also the number and geometry of ray paths in a pair. The calculation cost of proposed method is low so that we can recalculate dynamically the weights in every relocation stage in a iterative method for non-linear solver.
