A study on the propagation of acoustic wave associated with tsunami

Abstract
The acoustic wave is caused by the deformation of the sea bed which produces tsunami. It may be possible to forecast earlier the arrival of tsunami by using information of the acoustic wave, because the speed of propagation of the acoustic wave is much faster than that of tsunami. To take the compressibility of water into consideration makes it possible to predict the variation of the sea surface. In this study, we simulate the propagation of acoustic waves with a tsunami wave and examine its propagation range which we can identify using pressure gauges.
